I’m so uninterested in this week’s movies, I don’t even bother getting the titles right in the recap. But that doesn’t stop me from exhibiting some Class A Nerdiness.

At press time Babad may have been at double zero - but since it’s been bumped up to six percent! James Christopher from the UK says: “It’s utter codswallop, yet enjoyable if you unplug your brain” and Xan Brooks (also a Brit) says “You don’t need to have a grudging affection for Vin Diesel to appreciate this dunderheaded comic-book adventure - although, obviously, it helps.” GLOWING reviews!!!!

August 29th, 2008 at 11:33 amYes, I noticed it moved up the scale quite a bit from it’s 00% shellacking. But I also read that the European version is 11 minutes longer. Perhaps those 11 minutes held the key to this movie’s critical success! Then again, codswallop isn’t exactly positive.
