Lost some respect for Stephanie since she loved it so much.
Also, I wouldn’t qualify it as a movie for kids. If I had kids, they wouldn’t be allowed to see this. The message of “Oh I want to die and be a vampire and leave my Dad and this world” is a bad message and not appropriate for kids.
Beej, it’s absolutely a movie for kids. Little girls go crazy over the fantasy. It’s a (poorly done) teen romance novel come to life, but their target is definitely prepubescent girls. And also, lonely forty year old women.
Contorto, just try and replay Toy Story in your mind if you have to go.
Yeah, it’s marketed towards kids. I was just saying that in my mind it shouldn’t be and if I had a 10 or 12 year old girl, I wouldn’t let her watch it. I’m an old man now and getting to be a prude.

Way to take one for the team though Steve.

I was able to deflect with Toy Story 3 last weekend but I’m afraid my number is up this weekend.
