Drinkin’, Humpin’, Moonwalkin’ Ewoks!

Friday, October 30th, 2009

Slashfilm posted this video, and I had to share. Check out these Ewoks stealing the spotlight from the Today Show crew. Slashfilm thinks they’re drunk, I just think they’re desperate for attention. Either way, it’s pretty hilarious when one of them starts to do push-ups for no reason, which turns into floor humping…again, for no reason.

The Demon – A Short Film

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

Happy Halloween everyone! I wrote and directed a short called The Demon a few years back, and never got around to releasing it…until now! Make it full screen, as the tiny embed doesn’t really do it justice.

Saturday Comedy – No-So-Oscar-Worthy!

Saturday, February 21st, 2009

It’s Oscar weekend, so we should be celebrating great movies and shining a spotlight on overlooked ones. Well I say screw that. Let’s celebrate movies that most people despise! Below is the Ebert and Roeper review of Freddy Got Fingered, and while I’m in a very small minority and happen to disagree with their assessment of Tom Green’s magnum opus, I can always appreciate a heavy dose of baffled disgust.

9021-Axl Rose

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

While listening to Chinese Democracy, I realized I may have found Axl Rose’s inspiration for the title track – the theme song to 90210! So I put it to the test. You be the judge!

Stop Motion Star Wars : Part One

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

A long time ago (14 years) in a galaxy far, far away (Ohio), the Nerd With Words and his friend BJ attempted to recreate his favorite movie from memory using only Star Wars toys, in-camera effects, and horrible, horrible voice acting. This is pre-prequels, pre-Be Kind, Rewind sweding, and pre-puberty.

In celebration of the Clone Wars cartoon debut this Friday, I present the origin story of the Nerd With Words: Part One of Stop Motion Star Wars.

Wow. That was made with little irony, or Tusken Raiders.

Churches Are Hilarious!

Saturday, September 13th, 2008

For this week’s Saturday Comedy, I HAD to post this unbelievable picture sent to me by B.J. Prassinos, an avid reader of the site. This is from a church in Ohio, and, as he states, “Nothing like using fear to influence people. Very Christian.”
