Zack and Miri Make A Porno

I’m excited to revisit Zack and Miri, despite the fact that it’s only been 3 months since it was in theaters. If you’re so inclined, you can read my original review HERE. It’s a shame this movie didn’t take off the way Smith was expecting, but I’ve said it before; he shot himself in the foot with the “controversial” title. You can’t have it both ways, and if Kevin Smith was determined to make a hit movie, he would have changed the title. Personally, I’m glad he didn’t. Zack and Miri will most likely get a huge second life on video because it’s damn funny and has one of the best visual gags (perfect word for the occasion) I’ve seen. Plus, as mentioned on Sticky Floor, I heart Elizabeth Banks.

THE VERDICT: BUY IT (View Askew always puts out great DVDs. there are 43 deleted scenes!)

Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist

I haven’t seen Nick and Norah yet, but I’m still on the Michael Cera bandwagon, so this will be coming to my house via Netflix. I know some people are lashing back at Michael Cera for playing the same character, but come on! He does it so well.
